ABOUT US

Advanced Containment Systems, Inc. is the parent company of Advanced Camp Structures International.  Advanced Containment Systems, Inc was founded in 1988 by our current President/Owner Phil Dunne. Phil is an entrepreneur that started in the specialized trailer industry and then moved into the abatement industry.  ACSI technology was initially developed to support collection and cleanup of hazardous materials associated with the nuclear and chemical industries.  ACSI's products have grown and diversified over the years.  ACSI designs and manufactures products to address the requirements of oilfield housing, emergency response, abatement, special events, and military industries.  That technology has quickly spread into addressing all the markets we currently are involved in today.  By striving to the provide the highest quality products and service, ACSI has remained a leader in the industry.

We are now starting our third decade of operations with our corporate headquarters and fabrication facilities located in Houston, TX.  With over two hundred employees, ACSI is poised to tackle any project worldwide large or small.  Our operations currently are housed in approximately two hundred and fifty thousand square feet of building space.  Our facilities are specifically designed to facilitate our manufacturing processes and allow rapid expansion as our customer demands dictate.  Whether self-propelled, trailer, or skid, our transportable products are constructed to withstand the stress of constant movement and relocation under demanding conditions.  All products are designed by our in house engineering and technical staff and are custom fabricated from raw material stage to finished product within our own facilities.  ACSI builds as much in house as possible, which allows the control of high quality standards and delivery timelines.

Our engineering staff is comprised of engineers and technical personnel with experiences in mechanical, structural, vehicular, electrical, hydraulic, and other engineering disciplines.  Our staff works with the most modern types of design tools, including Pro-E for solid modeling.

ACSI’s fabrication facilities are fully equipped with modern equipment to insure accuracy and repeatability of all products built.  Included in our fabrication department is a 5000 watt automated laser cutting machine, multiple robotic welders, computerized painting equipment,  five (5) modern numerically controlled fabrication centers as well as NC controlled metal forming brakes and other equipment. Our products are engineered and built to meet the high standards established by diverse markets we service.  The staff of quality assurance personnel continually monitors all phases of the manufacturing processes in order to insure that this high quality standard is met in all products we produce.

ACSI has a wide and varied product offering. Some of our military products have been tested and passed the rigid standards imposed by the Aberdeen Test Center at Aberdeen, MD. Other products are meeting the tests of front line duty in supporting the war effort. Our products are currently in service across the globe.
